Off Season

All of this football talk has me itching to play. It is very very cold today though so that is pretty much out of the question. I will have to settle for a few rounds of madden on my play station. I think I might have a few friends over to play. We all really really love to play that game.

Football

A friend of mine asked me who my nfl game picks were today, and I was kind of taken aback by it. It is a pretty hard decision because there are so many awesome choices. I mean.. look at what everyone did last season. How do you choose between so many greats?

Scavenger Hunt

I don’t know why but I feel like going on an old fashioned scavenger hunt. We used to have them when I was younger. We would get a big list and go all over the neighborhood looking for the things on the list.  We would make prizes for each other and everything. Sometimes I really miss all the fun things we did as children.

Articles

It seems like the majority of all articles on the internet are copies of articles from other sites. No one ever knows who the sources are, or what the truth is because, it has been copied and pasted into oblivion. I had just about given up on reading articles online, until I found this one about, PCI video adapters. It was completely unique and original. No plagiarism what so ever. I was shocked, and so I started reading through the rest of the site, and I must say I am impressed that the articles are all 100% original content, not taken from other sites and regurgitated like most places.

Latin

Latin is such a truly beautiful language. I hope that one day I can learn it. I love the way it sounds, I love listening to it even though I really don’t know whats being said.  They say it is the foundation of all languages. I definitely see its roots in the English language. I also see it in the little bit of French and Spanish that I do know.

India

A close friend of mine at work was selected to work on a company project in India. When she left it was like losing my best friend. The cost of long distance is pretty insane so we have been using calling cards. It is saving us a ton of money. I found a great site that has really cheap India phone cards and I have been ordering them regularly. I checked with my phone company, and did the math. With these cards I have saved over 150$ so far! I am really glad that I found getmecallingcards.com. I can also call my friends in Canada for much less than before.

Losing Weight

People are starting to notice that I am losing weight.  It is making me a little self conscious. Not that I should be, I should be proud. I guess it’s just a little awkward to realize that people are paying that much attention to me. I always try to stay kind of unnoticed. I am shy, very very shy.

Paint Ball

Pntball.com has some really cheap paintball guns. I don’t know how they make any money. I have seen the same guns and equipment at sporting goods stores for so much more than the prices on this site. What’s even more surprising is the selection. There are so many great brands in both the guns and the gear. I have even seen products that I thought I would never be able to own because they are such a rare find. I really like the Spyder Pilot ACS. I never though I would ever find such a great discount paintball site. I am really glad I found it. Especially with my birthday being right around the corner, it’s time to start dropping some major hints!

Penguins

I don’t know why but it seems like everything on television today is about penguins. I have always wanted a pet penguin. When I was younger I used to pretend I had a pet penguin. I had a stuffed penguin that I would leave in the fridge so he wouldn’t get too hot.  We do some really strange things when we are kids don’t we?

Gear

As a uniformed employee I know how hard it is to find good gear. Especially Blackhawk Gear. When you can find it the prices are ridiculously high. Not at lapolicegear.com though. I was able to get every thing I needed with out blowing my budget.
